CAPELLA SYSTEMS, llc’S ONLINE PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 2019.

Capella Systems, LLC (“Capella”) is committed to protecting your privacy, and this Policy describes the type of information we collect through our website and the products (including Cambria Live, Cambria Live Broadcast Manager, and Cambria FTC) and services available through our website (collectively, the “Services”) and how such information may be used, transferred, or disclosed.

Services Not for Use by Children

Our Services are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Please refer to our Terms of Use that prohibit children from sending us information via our Services. If we discover that any child under the age of 15 has sent us personal information, we will take all reasonable measures to promptly delete such information.

Types of Information We Collect

The information we collect when you visit or use our Services depends on things such as your browser settings, what information you actively provide us, and what links you click on. The following information is information that we collect when you choose to provide it to us by actively sending it to us through our Services:

  • Your name;
  • Your mailing address;
  • Your email address; and
  • Your telephone number.

Cambria Live, Cambria Live Broadcast Manager, and Cambria FTC (collectively, the “Cambria Applications”) are applications that use YouTube API Services to access users’ YouTube accounts. Accordingly all users of Cambria Applications must also agree to be bound by the Google Privacy Policy that can be found at:

The Cambria Applications request users to input their YouTube username and YouTube password as part of the YouTube authentication process. The Cambria Applications do not store the YouTube username or the YouTube password. Additionally, the Cambria Applications also obtain from YouTube the following:

  • The YouTube channel list associated with the authenticated YouTube account;
  • YouTube channel names;
  • URLs for publishing videos; and
  • YouTube API access tokens.

Of the above, the channel list is not stored by the Cambria Applications. The channel names, URLs, and access tokens are stored in a project file or a local database if there is a request from the user that we store such information. To revoke permission for the Cambria Applications to access your YouTube account, you may revoke the access token. The method for doing so can be found on the following page:

Also, users of the Cambria Applications can delete any access token stored in a local database through the process within the Cambria Applications.

How We Use Your Information

You must provide your personal information if you want to do things such as obtain a trial license package. We use the information we collect to assist us in fulfilling orders for trial licenses or answering inquiries. We do not share information with any third parties other than third parties we may employ to assist us in carrying out projects on behalf of Capella such as sending emails or designing, maintaining, or managing our Services (“Contractors”). Any Contractors we hire will have a contractual obligation to maintain the confidentiality of all user information we collect or store. Other than to Contractors, we do not rent, sell, or otherwise disclose your information to any third parties.

California Privacy Rights

We never share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Our Services will not respond to “do not track” (DNT) signals, but from time to time there may be third party software used in the Services that does respond to DNT signals.

Protecting Your Information

We understand the importance of maintaining the security of your personal information, and we follow commercially-reasonable and generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information you submit to us. When you enter sensitive and/or personally-identifying information during registration or while ordering, we encrypt the transmissions involving such information using secure protocols.

Please note that while we encrypt the data for your protection, we do not guarantee that your information is 100% secure. By sending us data, you are agreeing that we do not guarantee the security of such data, but that we will endeavor to protect it using commercially-reasonable and generally accepted industry standards.

Third Party Sites

This Policy applies only to information collected by Capella Services. Capella Services may contain links to other websites, products or services that are not owned or operated by Capella (“Third Party Sites”). Other than as specifically mentioned above about the Cambria Applications using YouTube API Services, we do not provide your information to Third Party Sites, and we do not control the collection or use of any information on or by Third Party Sites. Accordingly, we make no representations about how Third Party Sites use your information. This means that a link from our Services to a Third Party Site can take you to a page that does not follow this Policy. If you choose to disclose personal information to any Third Party Sites, we encourage you to read the privacy policies of those sites.

Changes to This Policy

From time to time we may change this Policy to allow us to use your information in new ways that we have not previously disclosed. If we change this Policy in any way in the future, we will post such revised Policy.
